Challenge Workshop: MSO Tools 2012

This workshop was organized jointly by the "Komitee für mathematische Modellierung, Simulation und Optimierung" (KoMSO) and the ERC research project "Modeling, Simulation and Control of Multi-Physics Systems". The goal was to highlight the state-of-the-art and to identify the challenges in modeling, simulation and optimization (MSO) tools, to bring together developers and users of MSO tools in academia and industry. Special emphasis was put on multiphysics applications in multibody systems, electrical circuits, bioprocess engineering, chemical reactions, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
